Introduction
At Rednsay, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website.
Information We Collect
Personal Information
We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, and company information when you contact us, book a consultation, or subscribe to our services.
Automatically Collected Information
We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our website, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and the time and date of your visits.
Device Fingerprint
When you submit the free LinkedIn audit, your browser also calculates a device fingerprint, a short code derived from settings such as your screen size, language, time zone, and available fonts. It is sent with your submission and used only as an anti-abuse and rate-limiting key, so the same device cannot run the free audit over and over. See "Cookies, Local Storage, and Device Fingerprinting" and "LinkedIn Audit Tool Data" below for the full detail.
How We Use Your Information
- •To provide and maintain our services
- •To communicate with you regarding updates and offers
- •To analyze website usage and improve our services
- •To comply with legal obligations
- •To prevent fraud and enhance security
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services before providing your information.
Cookies, Local Storage, and Device Fingerprinting
Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser so we can understand how the website is used. You can block or delete these through your browser settings.
The LinkedIn Audit Tool also stores a small amount of data directly in your browser, using local storage and IndexedDB, to remember the reports you have opened on this device, your progress through the action checklist, your access to a report you paid for, and whether you have already been asked to leave a review. This data stays on your device, we do not read it from our servers, and clearing your browser storage removes it.
In addition, when you submit the free audit we generate a device fingerprint. It is calculated inside your browser from settings your device already exposes, such as screen size, language, time zone, and installed fonts, and only the resulting short code is sent to us. We never receive or store the individual characteristics behind it, and the code cannot be reversed into them.
We use the fingerprint, together with your IP address and email address, for one purpose only: enforcing the free audit limit and blocking automated abuse. Each free audit costs us money to run, so this is our legitimate interest in keeping the tool available and affordable. We do not use the fingerprint for advertising or personalization, we do not use it to follow you across other websites, and we never sell or share it.
If your browser, an extension, or a privacy setting blocks fingerprinting, nothing breaks. The audit still runs and we simply fall back to the other limits. You can object to this processing at any time by contacting us at privacy@rednsay.com, though we may then be unable to offer you the free audit.
LinkedIn Audit Tool Data
When you use the LinkedIn Audit Tool, we collect the information you submit directly: your full name, email address, the LinkedIn profile URL you want analyzed, and a short description of your goals. If you purchase a Premium report, we also collect the additional business context you provide (for example your business website, target audience, tone, and current offers) and, if you choose to include them, up to three competitor LinkedIn profile URLs for benchmarking.
We only analyze publicly available information visible on the LinkedIn profile pages you submit. We do not request or store your LinkedIn login credentials, and using the Audit Tool does not require you to connect or authenticate a LinkedIn account.
The free audit costs us money to run, so we need a way to stop the same person from running it over and over. To do that we record your IP address and generate a device fingerprint, a short code calculated from your browser and device settings such as screen size, language, and fonts. The fingerprint is computed in your browser and we only ever store the resulting code, not the underlying details. We use it purely to apply the daily limit and to block abuse. We do not use it for advertising, we do not use it to track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share it with third parties.
Competitor profile URLs you submit belong to individuals who are not our customers. We process this publicly available data solely to generate your benchmarking comparison, on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing the service you requested. We do not retain competitor profile data beyond what is necessary to produce your report, and we never use it to contact, market to, or otherwise reach out to those individuals.
We retain audit and report data for as long as needed to provide the service and respond to support requests, and in any event no longer than 36 months after your last interaction with the Audit Tool, unless a longer period is required by law or you ask us to delete it sooner.
Service Providers We Use
We share the minimum data necessary with the following categories of service providers to operate the Audit Tool:
- •Workflow and analysis infrastructure: to retrieve the submitted profile, run automated/AI-assisted scoring, and generate your report
- •AI providers: to generate the written analysis, rewrites, and recommendations in your report
- •Whop: to process Premium report payments and manage checkout; Whop's own privacy policy applies to payment data it collects directly
- •Resend: to send transactional and notification emails related to your audit
- •Google Analytics: to understand website usage, which may set cookies in your browser
International Data Transfers
Some of the service providers above may process your data outside your country of residence, including in the United States. Where this occurs, we rely on the safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- •Access your personal information
- •Request correction of inaccurate data
- •Request deletion of your data
- •Restrict or object to certain processing
- •Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
- •Opt out of marketing communications
- •Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority
